RESPONSE TO SEXY INC.

1) WAS THERE A POINT WHERE YOU FELT YOU WERE OVER WHELMED AND FELT LIKE YOUR "IMAGE" WASN'T ENOUGH?
Yes. It was my fist year in soccer. After all of my firiends showed me how to be a good goalie. My new coach played me stricker which i wasn't so good. I herd the grunts from my own team mates. Finally our goalie got a red card and my coach told me to go as a goalie. I was finally happy, my first time in nets, i got 2 goeals scored on me after 35 shots on me. We were winning 5-2 and then i made a big mistake. I accedentle clipped a guy in my cress, the other team had a penalty shot and they scored. we ended up winning but they had to score the peanlty shot. it was hard because during the season there was in total 5 penalty shots and i still have a problem saving them.

2) IS THE LINE BLURRED BETWEEN WHAT IS "SEXY" AND THE IMAGE THAT YOU HAVE (OR ARE BUILDING) OF YOURSELF?
To me it is hard to figure out because the media in magazines infulence me to look at both sides like in the magazines it just showing that women have have to be thin, and dumb. anotherway i look at in women is their smarts whats on the inside of the person.

3) WHOES ROLE IS IT TO SET "LIMITS"?
In magzines mostly the roles that take charge and if there are men and women in the advertisment it usally the man that is taking controlle over the women.

4) what advise would you give to a 4 year old girl about to start her "social life" by going to school next year?
i would tell her that she can do anything if she can put her mind into it. work hard because you can acheive greatness, never let anybody put you down because they are just jealiouse of your greatness.

The way i see it to get a brand loyalty i usally befor buying the product i ask around to my friends and then the recommended or they don't. Then if they like the product that i am about to get i go to the store itself and i ask all of my questions, most of the time most stores ask if i want a 14 day trail, to see if i like the product that they are selling. Just like when i get a demo for my PlayStation3 i try it out if i like it ill buy in in a second, but if the game isn't as good as i thought no deal.

What is media?
Media is gossip, news that is told to one person and spoken out to more people and then everyone has herd the info.

What medium do you use the most?
Where i like to get my information from is mostly the television, when my parents watch CTV I happen to observe whats going on around the world. i also like to use the internet because that's where you lkearn more because on t.v. like CTV is says "we will have more info at a later time" but i want to know now so i surf the web.

Where does media make itself visible in your life?
media is visible to me when i see it for myself. most of my friends tell me things that its hard for me to believe it so i have to check it out just to trust them and myself.

What impact of media is in our society?
in our society is that media is everywhere, in our schools everyone is talking gossip, in our society most of the time everyone knows everything. the impact is strong in our society.

when do you trust them.

i trust my information source because when i hear rumors i would like to check them out my self so i know if the are real or just rumors. i check the internet, and when i am not really sure ill watch the television to see if its real or not.

when does that info become truth.

i think the information that we are told becomes truth when we see it ourselves. also we start to believe these information because our friends tell us that its true so we tend to accept the rumors.

how do we we Build information.

we build information by our friends telling us whats real and what is not real. we get information form the internet, television news, magazine and more. With all of the information told to use we sometimes believe it and other times do not.
